Beauty Review: Butter London

So Today I'm going to do a Butter London review! I recently just discovered about this line after winning a goody bag from Planet Beauty. The goody bag contained the Powder Room remover and Madam Country Garden Lotion, but not the nail polish. With the other Butter London products being so satisfying, I decided to go out and buy a bottle of the polish myself. The price was about $14.00.
And, I love this nail polish!!! The application went on extremely smooth and I was able to paint coats with consistent layers. Also, since this is a pastel color, the application wasn't streaky at all! I find that pastel colored polishes give me a hard time because the streaks are so visible and hard to get rid of.
Chi Base Coat/ Butter London in Muggins/ OPI Top Coat
The best part of this polish is that it is "3 Free." It is a non-toxic nail polish made WITHOUT Formaldehyde, Toulene, and DBP. These chemicals which all have been tested in scientific studies and experiments have proven to impair many processes within the body!

. . . . I'm definitely going to start investing in more Butter London nail polishes!

The day I let my boyfriend dress me...

Today I let my boyfriend dress me. In the beginning I was fearful of what outfit my boyfriend would pick out for me to wear in public, but I must say... he actually has a good feel for clothes. Although it took him a while, he was finally able to come up with something. I'm actually impressed he chose a pencil skirt paired with a peplum top; it gave the outfit a lot of curves that I really liked. Also, I really enjoyed the color scheme: red, white, and blue. But then when he added a hint of leopard... I got iffy. At first I was hesitant about the extra animal included in the look, but then it turned out to give the outfit more edge.
I think this outfit is a winner. I look at it and look back at my boyfriend thinking .."wow, I can't believe you put this together". Haha, well this was a fun experiment, and I definitely want to challenge him again soon!

Ice cream, kisses, and the best boyfriend ever ♥

After work last night,  my boyfriend and I decided to go on a little ice cream run. Honestly, I've been wearing the same outfit for the past week. Going to work and re-wearing the same blue shirt and starts to get pretty bland. So last tonight, I told myself "it's time." Time to finally feel dressed up and pretty.

And I must include one more thing: I am truly happy, lucky, and grateful for my boyfriend. It's been over 4 years now and he's always been there for me. From moral support to being the one behind my amazing photo shoots. I know i'm a handful to handle but some how he finds a way to deal with me. Thank you Pablo, I love you ♥.

Oldie But Goldie: DIY

Here's another old DIY project from the summer before I left to China. I've been meaning to put it up, and now I finally have! All these fabrics were bought from Jo-Ann fabrics; that's the nearest and best thing I have here in Florida to buy any type of cloths. At the time I was really into sheer and the high-lo style. The blouse was hand beaded by me, which I did in one sitting of  6 hours straight with out any bathroom break. One-fourth of the way into the beading, I was sick and tired of it so I just wanted to finish as soon as possible. Lesson learned: I never want to do hand-beading again. Enjoy~
